Cabarete is one of the windiest destinations in the whole world. Perfect for a great kitesurf holiday. For advanced kitesurfers, but also if you want to learn kitesurfing at our kiteschool.

 

In Cabarete there are different kitespots. In the middle of the centre of Cabarete we have Bozo Beach. Here you see mostly windsurfers and on the right side also kitesurfers. The disadvantage for kitesurfers at this spot is that the wind is a bit gusty and the water choppy.

 

The best spots for kitesurfers are Kitebeach and Encuentro. At both beaches, the wind is always very stable, with deep water and a few waves at the back at Kitebeach and shallow water in the beginning of Encuentro with the best and easy going waves of Cabarete. It is also great to make a downwinder from Kitebeach to Encuentro.

 

Also from La Boca it is great to make a downwinder to Kitebeach or Encuento. La Boca is the place where the lagune ends and the Ocean starts. A beautiful and hidden place from which it is great to make a downwinder. Hooked and Windwing organise them often and you are welcome to join us.
