Learning kiteboarding on your holiday at one of the best kitesurf destinations in the world. This is possible in Cabarete. The IKO related kiteschool we work with, uses high quality and save equipment and the instructors are experienced and qualified to teach. And the kiteschool is more than that. Having lessons here does not only mean learning how to kitesurf in a safe way, but also means that you have a great time on the beach and in the water.

 

Lessons

We have lessons for beginners and advanced riders. For beginners we have full courses of three or four days (9 or 12 hours) and the possibility to takes less or more hours. You can take private lessons or group lessons (with two persons). Of course it is possible to adjust the content of the lessons, the amount of hours per lessons and total amount of hours to your preferences. All lessons are including equipment.

Group lessons 3 hours:    $ 150 / € 125 pp
Private lessons 3 hours:   $ 180 /  € 150
 
9 hours cours group:       $ 382 /  € 318 pp
9 hours cours private:     $ 459 /  € 383
12 hours cours group:     $ 510/  € 425 pp

For those people who already had some lessons before, it  is possible to take a refresher package of 1 lesson (3 hours) and 6 hours of supervision (somebody that helps and looks after you:

group:   $ 330 / € 275

private: $ 360 / € 300

 

If you become just as hooked on kiting as we are, you probably don't want to stop kiting when your lessons are finished. You can choose either to buy or to rent a equipment. When you rent equipment you can do this with supervision (somebody that helps you and looks after you the whole time) or without.

 

Supervised equipment rental:              $ 30 / € 25  per hour

Supervised equipment rental 9 hours:  $ 270 / € 225

Supervised equipment rental 18 hours:$ 500 / € 416

 

Supervison without equipment:             $ 25 / € 20 per 3 hours

Board rental only:                                 $ 45 / € 27 per 3 hours

Kite rental only:                                   $ 45 / € 33 per 3 hours

Safety gear (harness,vest, helmet)        $ 15 / € 12,50 per 3 hours

Kite, board and safety gear:                  $ 90 / € 75 per 3 hours
