Surfing is a fantastic sport, especially in a country like the Dominincan Republic with a temperature the whole year round between 27 and 31°C. Hooked Cabarete is located at the surfspot Encuentro. A great and relaxed spot for advanced riders as well as for beginners. The spot is beautiful, not crowded, the people are friendly and the admosphere is nice and relaxed. Everybody is willing to help each other and at the surfschool you can get lessons or rent a surfboard.
Surflessons
Together with the local surf school of Encuentro, we offer surf lessons that make it possible to learn wavesurfing at one of the most beautiful spots in the Caribbean. At the surfschool you can count on a team of professional and highly motivated instructors who will make sure you learn this amazing sport while having a great time on the water. You can book your wavesurf lessons at Hooked Cabarete. After your lesson, you can rent a surfboard to start practising. The surfschool made a special and not expensive package for people who stay at Hooked Cabarete.
Rental
At the surfschool you can also rent surfboards. Beginnerboards, but also different types of boards for advanced surfers. The school made also for rental a special and inexpensive price for people who stay at Hooked Cabarete.
